Today, Cognity ingests documents, images, time-series telemetry, CAD files, and unstructured text — because each client deployment pushed the platform to handle a new data type, and that capability stayed in the platform.

The semantic indexing layer in Cognity now supports fourteen languages and handles cross-modal retrieval (find the engineering drawing related to this maintenance log entry). No single client needed all fourteen languages. But the platform accumulated them, and every client benefits.

Sentara's voice models improve across all deployments through a federated learning approach. Each client's voice data stays on their infrastructure — GRAL never centralizes raw audio. But model gradient updates are aggregated across deployments, which means Sentara's speech recognition accuracy improves faster than any single-client dataset could achieve alone. Accent handling, noise cancellation, and domain-specific vocabulary all improve with each new deployment environment.

Emittra's campaign intelligence follows the same pattern. Optimal send times, channel preferences, content effectiveness — these signals compound across deployments. A pattern learned in financial services outbound (Tuesday mornings outperform Friday afternoons for compliance notifications) becomes a starting prior for new deployments in other regulated industries.

What Clients Get

The practical consequence of GRAL's platform approach is straightforward: clients get better without doing anything.
